OCTOBER 2015, Kennesaw, Ga.—Henssler Financial is pleased to announce eight of their financial planning experts were named to the Five Star Wealth Manager list in the October 2015 issue of Atlanta Magazine.
Gene W. Henssler, Ph.D.; William G. Lako, Jr. CFP®; Jennifer J. Thomas, CFP®; Shawna L. Theriault, CFP®, C.P.A.; Adam Ledbetter, CFP®; D. James Barker, CWS®; Steve Michael and Thomas C. Cole, CFP® were among the 546 Atlanta area wealth managers named to the list.
“We are very fortunate to have such accomplished advisers on our team, helping clients achieve their financial goals. Our advisers pride themselves on establishing trusting relationships with clients so that they are able to address every financial concern and develop solutions that satisfy the clients’ desires to grow and preserve their wealth,” firm owner Dr. Henssler said. “Being named to this exclusive list is a reflection of the positive influence we have on the lives of our clients.”
The published list represents financial professionals with an average one-year client retention rate of 96%. The survey considered 3,620 wealth manager candidates in the Atlanta area. Five Star Professional conducts market-specific research to identify service professionals who satisfied 10 objective eligibility and evaluation requirements. Five Star Professional also uses multiple supporting processes to help ensure a favorable regulatory and complaint history exists.
“We continually strive to provide the very best services for our clients. Our primary objective is to help our clients understand their financial situation so they can make the best financial decisions for their families,” added Mr. Lako, one of the firm’s six principals. “We are proud to have our financial planners included in on the Five Star list for 2015.”
The Five Star Professional research team identified candidates by one of three sources: firm nomination, peer nomination or pre-qualification based on industry standing. The team focused on five points of eligibility: credentialed as an investment advisory representative or registered investment adviser; actively employed as a credentialed professional in the financial services industry for a minimum of five years; favorable regulatory and complaint history review; fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards, and accepting new clients.
One-year and five-year client retention rates; assets under advisement; number of households served, and education and professional designations were also considered.
Working with a Five Star Wealth Manager or any wealth manager is no guarantee of future investment success, nor is there any guarantee the selected wealth manager will be awarded this accomplishment by Five Star Professional in the future.
