Abby Owen is a Tax Supervisor with Henssler CPAs & Advisers, LLC, an affiliate company of Henssler Financial.

Joining the firm in January 2025, Ms. Owen prepares corporate, partnership, trust, and individual income tax returns and assists clients with year-round tax planning and projections. She advises clients on optimizing their tax filings by identifying relevant deductions and implementing strategies to minimize tax liability. Additionally, she prepares tax filings, conducts tax research, analyzes tax notices, drafts responses, and advocates on behalf of clients to federal and state organizations as needed.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Owen spent nearly five years at a nationally ranked advisory, assurance, and tax firm, where she served as both an Associate and Senior Tax Associate. In these roles, she reviewed federal and multi-state tax returns, researched fundamental tax issues, and trained and developed staff accountants. She also has more than two years of bookkeeping experience.

Ms. Owen earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from Georgia College & State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
