Emily Rubenstein, CPA, is a Tax & Business Consultant with Henssler CPAs & Advisers, LLC, an affiliated company of Henssler Financial. Ms. Rubenstein began working at Henssler as a tax intern in January 2017. Upon graduation, she accepted a full-time position in July 2018.

Ms. Rubenstein’s responsibilities include reviewing client financial statements, working with individuals and small-business owners to prepare tax projections and return preparation, in addition to providing tax planning and consulting services. She also researches tax policies to find applicable strategies to minimize tax liability for her clients and calculates estimated quarterly tax payments so clients can avoid underpayment penalties. She also provides monthly bookkeeping services using QuickBooks.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Rubenstein spent nearly a year as an Accounting & Tax Assistant with a local full-service public accounting fi rm, where she provided bookkeeping services for corporations and prepared corporate tax returns. During her college career, Ms. Rubenstein served as the Secretary for the Kennesaw State University chapter of Omega Phi Alpha, a national service sorority. She was also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international business honor society.

Ms. Rubenstein earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Kennesaw State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor® and a QuickBooks Desktop ProAdvisor®.
