Another Mixed Session

Monday’s session ended with mixed moves. The Dow added some points. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq ended in the red zone. Hewlett-Packard, Cisco, and Boeing led the Dow’s slight advance. Apple led the Nasdaq’s descent on news of reduced iPhone 5 production due to weaker demand. On another note, crude oil futures jumped 58 cents to settle at $94.14 a barrel. Looking ahead, JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs will report quarterly details on Wednesday, and Bank of America and Citigroup are set to issue earnings figures on Thursday.
