Henssler Financial Ranks at 157 on Financial Advisor Magazine’s List of RIA Firms

SEPTEMBER 2024, KENNESAW, Ga. — Henssler Financial ranked No. 157 on Financial Advisor Magazine’s 2024 Registered Investment Advisors (RIA) Survey & Ranking list. The annual list ranks firms nationwide based on total assets under management (AUM) for the year ending in 2023.

The magazine’s industry-focused survey highlights how the registered investment advisory industry has evolved over the past 20 years, noting that a billion-dollar firm is no longer as rare as it once was. Firms have transitioned from small, family-run operations to businesses with corporate structures. As a result, firm owners must now decide whether to maximize value through selling or preserving their legacy by passing the business on to the next generation of advisors.

Published in the July edition, FA Magazine found that fewer than 20% of firms have accepted outside institutional investors, with most still relying on organic growth.
